Tim Cook
Tim Cook, Executive Director
Tim is a leader with extraordinary talent, passion, and commitment to the senior living community. He has been working in long-term health care for the past 6 years. In July 2007, Tim became the Executive Director for Ashley River Plantation in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to that, he served Bell Senior Living as the Area Manager for the State of Florida, overseeing multiple communities for Bell. Tim is the father of 3 wonderful children and is married to his college sweetheart. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his young family.
Rhonda Brungo
Rhonda Brungo, Business Office Manager
Rhonda hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been the Business Office Manager for 4 years at Ashley River Plantation, overseeing the resident billing and payroll systems. She has been serving the senior living community for 15 years in a variety of healthcare and residential settings. Before coming to Ashley River she was an Administrative Secretary in a Massachusetts skilled nursing facility and started her career as a Receptionist in a skilled nursing facility in Pennsylvania. She is married and enjoys spending time at home in Summerville with her husband and two wonderful dogs, Daisy and Lilly.
Lisa Gregoire
Lisa Gregoire, Director of Sales
Lisa, the Director of Sales, is an outstanding listener! She is also a compassionate and motivating resource to families seeking solutions to the many challenges of aging. With nearly a decade of marketing experience for non-profits in the Charleston area, Lisa brings a well-established link to the Tri-County Seniors Industry. Lisa’s "loves" away from work include her first grandchild, Elizabeth, running, and time on the water.
Jessica Boone
Jessica Boone, Director of Health Services
Jessica is the Director of Health Services at Ashley River Plantation. She started working with senior adults when she was just 18 years old. Jessica was raised by her grandparents, which was one of the things that inspired her to work with the elderly. Her first job when she was 18 years old was as an Activity Assistant, which she continued for 2 years. She then became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked with Dementia residents for 3 years. Jessica later went to school in Lexington, Kentucky and became a nurse. She has had many positions as a nurse, all working with geriatrics. She believes that all of her 11 years of experience has allowed her to be able to show and teach others the joy that our older population really gives us each day.
Jo Patrick
Jo Patrick, Director of Memory Care
Jo is a native of Charleston. Prior to beginning a career in nursing, she was an environmental chemist with a local firm, specializing in organic chemistry. After caring for her grandparents, Jo decided to make a career change. She graduated nursing school and started working with Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients and this has become her passion. In her free time, Jo is also a competitive shag dancer and coaches children for competition.
Megan Smith
Megan Smith, Director of Memory Care Activities
Megan is originally from Chicago, but has also lived in Pittsburg. She received her B.A. in Outdoor Recreation and Human Services. After getting tired of the snow, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina and started working at Ashley River Plantation. She worked here for 4 years as the Director of Activities. She is now the Director of Memory Care Activities and does an excellent job working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. Megan is also a recent newlywed and enjoys reading, spending time on the beach with her husband and traveling.
Marcia Frank
Marcia Frank, Director of Activities
Marcia is a Charleston native and has an Associate in Arts Degree with a focus on English, which helps to fuel her hobbies of reading and creative writing. She first started in the healthcare field in medical records and earned several certificates to further that career. She worked in many different healthcare settings for 11 years before deciding she needed a change. She found that she had a desire to do something that allowed more creativity and contact with the senior population. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ashley River Plantation, which gave her an opportunity to find her niche and that is looking out for the happiness and well-being of our assisted living residents. She is a newlywed and now serves as our Director of Activities at Ashley River Plantation.
Jeff Bishop
Jeff Bishop, Director of Food & Beverage
Jeff is an extremely talented Chef who graduated from Johnson & Wales in 2001. He has been working in the senior industry for 8 years and now serves as the Director of Food & Beverage at Ashley River Plantation. He has a passion for making every diner at Ashley River satisfied. Jeff has 2 children and is very involved with them. He also enjoys gardening and doing yard work on the days that he is not creating delicious dishes at Ashley River Plantation.
Michael Butch
Michael Butch, Director of Maintenance
Michael has been the Director of Maintenance at Ashley River Plantation for over a year now. Prior to working with the elderly, Mike worked for Piggly Wiggly and was also a private business owner. Mike is extremely devoted to his work and his residents. He not only always gets the job done, but he wears a smile while doing it. Mike has a lovely wife and 2 beautiful children and he enjoys spending time with them and playing paintball with his son.
